    Quick summary :

    A. I checked personnally 26x Espada in Europe all over 2017, in addition to the ones I also checked the previous years...

    B. I know this one since 2011, when I inspected it at Retro Legends in Holland

    C. I saw it again in 2013 at Brummen Gallery, Holland

    D. I met it again in september this year, paint is not original, but still period from Espada color chart, it is an overall good paintjob, so no reason to change as the combination with original preserved interior is great for me !

    E. It is still a 1st owner car, as it is with original 1st Dutch registration, never registered again... but privately owned & stored for years by 2x collectors without registrating it.

    F. History is all clear thanks to Marcel & Kevin.

    G. Book, Tools bags, sparewheel, all complete.

It is now under skill hands in order to be prepared for next year 50th Anniversario Espada, I'm so impatient to cross Europe at its steeringwheel several times next year !

I thought I would've seen these posted by now but here they are. Espadas seen at Auto e Moto in Padova this year.

There were at least one or two more I didn't photograph.

Finally, where Bertone sourced the series III front grilles from: Fiat Dino coupe 2400:

The first two pictured had no prices, were not too impressive but you can see them on the Facebook page for Edelmetall Car Collection. The White next to the red Jarama had no price and the engine shot is from another white car (not photographed) that appear to be nut-and-bolt-restored and had an asking price in the mid 200k Euros, IIRC. The price sign was taken down for the second day and replaced with a "taking offers" sign.

    TAW 738 R is #9510 which was gold and on registrations SYE 972 R , 3 CYC & 467 RAU before

MYH 516 P was last seen at Heachmans in 1987, the color suits the car, not sure if this is an original color

    TGC 44 M is another mystery S3

Restoration is overstating what's been done IMHO. The interior is not so impressive as to be called a restoration. There need to be more pictures of the exterior and chassis as well. If this car fetches those kind of numbers that will be impressive!
    And I hope it does!

The goal was to keep the interior as original as possible. All leather were removed from the seats and was padded new. It was a bunch of work...

I bet! I went a bit further by rebuilding both front seats completely and one rear cushion. The rest will red redyed. I did try to save my front seat leather but in the end I was convinced that repairing wouldn't hold up nearly as well. Resewing old leather can be very tricky.

This car looks like the carpet is non original? It also needs the rubber pads sewed onto new on mats as well to look correct. Those rubber pads are available from someone on this thread, have a look.

I have the rubber pads on stock. Don´t remember if they used them or not on this car. Overall mechanically, bodywork, interior is well done. Sure you will find on nearly every car minor stuff to work on.

That's very good to hear! Nice Espadas are still very rare. Bob Huber (he's on here occasionally) is doing a very well preserved one right now and needs those pads. I think they'll be going through everything in the car.

Looking for a low mileage collector quality Espada, prefer to be based in USA. Any leads would be appreciated! [email protected]
