    Greg mine is an absolute dog under acceleration......The front end is all over the show....I thought they fixed that porpoising on the 575. Maybe I need to go down the same road for the 550 as you have....Car looks great in that colour......:)

    Mine is an early (2002) model so came without FHP and the early suspension ECU. The ECU changed about half a dozen times over the model life and anything other than the earliest ECU makes a difference apparently. I've managed to get all the FHP bits apart from the rear sway bar over the last year or two. I'm not au fait with the set up in the 550 but I believe the FHP option was available later in the 550 production. Most of these bits probably won't affect 90% of my driving experience but I get a thrill out of finding hard to get parts. Speaking of which, I have a new old stock spare wheel with covers on its way :)

    You most likely have something wrong with your shocks. The 575 switched to Sachs shocks, the 550 has Bilsteins, which are well known for giving trouble.

    Good news is that Bilstein have excellent customer service and will rebuild the shocks for you.

    btw the FHP springs in a 575 are the same rates as 550 rears, but 20% (as I recall) stiffer fronts.

    Ian I have bought everything to rebuild the suspension......When I pull everything apart I will get the shocks rebuilt....I know there is something the 550 guys in the states have done to change the geometry to 575 spec....I guess I am going to have to work a while longer to get all the HOS in the garage fully sorted...:)
