I have done extensive searching on here regarding this and have not come up with much. This said, I have purchased one of these for my 12 to work with my Iphone X and I was wondering if anyone has used one of these yet with the Iphone vs IPod and what your experience has been thus far? Can you see the play lists, and can you stream from things such as Pandora and Spotify? Cheers
Am interested to hear how you get on - I am looking at the same device for my 458S. I specifically want to know if streaming from Spotify works. Good luck!

Mine works fine, just annoying that you have to find it on Bluetooth every time you turn the car off and on. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Did you do a specific setting in the bluetooth device to be able to get the spotify song names on the right screen on the car as the piicture above it says no info and then you enable this?
Simply connecting it before staring car made it work. I’m using iPhone x Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Does anyone know if this will work with my F430 Bluetooth music from my iPhoneX? I have a Bluetooth adapter, which doesn’t work with my car. It shows connected on my radio display, but doesn’t seem to connect, like the iPod does and then you can pull up music, etc.
If you read my post I’m using this and my iphonex Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Got it. I have similar Bovee adapter and it doesn't seem to work properly. Might be same. Car is at dealership getting annual service, so need to check brand when I get car back. Even if I turn car off and on, still doesn't function right. It's basically hit or miss as far as it working or not. Also, maybe the 458 electronics are different I'm sure then the 430, so that could be why it works better for you. Another F-Chat recommended this device below. He said no issues, works perfectly, and has worked for him for 2 years. $21. I ordered it, since it's so inexpensive, got nothing to lose by trying it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluratek-30-Pin-Bluetooth-Audio-Receiver-for-iPhone-Dock/142562357884?epid=886314448&hash=item213160f27c:g:SB0AAOSwzppaBj64
I saw that one as well, it may be a good solution.. I have the Bovee WMA1000 Tune2Air.. I am unsure if the 430 has AD2AP style radio, that may be issue
Hopefully. I believe I have the same Bovee WMA1000 tune2air. It looks exactly like the one you post, so I'm guessing it's the same at this point. Until I get my car back. Radio style could be the issue. The radio head units are different 458 vs 430. Appreciate the help. Btw, I'm from Philly also. I see Doylestown, PA. I grew up in Roxborough.
I guess this one will work in the 458 as well. The pricing is very much competative. Or will the more expensive Bowee enable to see spotify songs on your left display in the car and this cheaper one will not? I also found even more cheaper on on ebay but not sure if the trade off is mainly sound quality?
I use an old 1 Gig Ipod that was almost kicked out with some rubbish ! Lots of room on that ... and gives me lots of fun too ...
Does the iPod menu become available immediately when the Bovee is physically connected, or when the Bovee and iPhone connect over Bluetooth?
Normally, the IPOD menu next to HDD and DISC appears when a valid device is physically connected to the 30-pin plug. I got a Bovee 1000 and it still doesn’t appear (there is nothing to scroll to). Looking to find out whether I should keep troubleshooting this. Is the IPOD menu supposed to appear the second I physically connect the Bovee, or after a Bluetooth connection is made with my iPhone?
In my California, the IPOD menu only appears after the iPhone and Bovee have bluetooth connected. Otherwise the IPOD menu is unhighlighted. I leave my Bovee physically connected all the time and it automatically reconnects every time the car is started.
