Presumably that is KLA12999 RHD 25th but there was also GLA12999 QV, the first absolute highest number...

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to convert a Countach 25th Anniversario to an LP style Countach? I remember Harry Metcalfe mentioning in his Lamborghini 50th anniversary video that he was surprised more people didn't convert the 25th to this style. What all would be involved body wise? Most I could think of would be:

    Front Bumper
    Fender Flares
    Side Skirts
    Rear Bonnet
    Rear Panel & Tail lights
    Exhaust Grille
    Spoiler
    Vents and Scoops
    Obvious lights and reflectors, etc.

You forgot 4 Ozzeta wheels, trunk-lid, front badge, rear badges, Eu front bumper-spoiler grilles, Carello driving lamps, bodywork to reshape both rear fenders to eliminate 25th bumper notch, interior door panels, steering wheel, shift knob, 2 one-piece seats, transmission console, 2 door sills, footwell brace, etc.

There is a reason this idea is not very popular, it doesn’t make any sense either financially or from a provenance standpoint with the end-product you’ll achieve.

The best advice to anyone trying to get into any type of collectible sports car is to find a good unmodified & unmolested car, as and when such an opportunity becomes available or is financially feasible. That advice will stand the test of time and by itself has not insignificant value.

That said, FWIW, the 25th Anniversario is a pretty cool car the way it is with many improvements over the QV. It is not understood or appreciated by many, but that'll change with time.

I know there seems to be a lack of bias toward the anniversario. But, OMG its one of my favorites. I love the Anniversario and one day I will own one.

They look fantastic without a wing too, just without the smaller, taller wing which looks terrible IMHO.

I believe that's a prototype USA car with black front bumper as well, thankfully the production cars were spared this finish

Agreed. I don't mind the rear so much, but the front would become a garage ornament immediately. That being said, any DOT bumper is better off in storage!

I remember Picture in front of "Riparto Esperienza" with such black bumpers, as you mentioned a pre series proto most likely.
