Sorry- have been following this thread intermittently- GTO to be previewed to dealers Friday??? This Friday??

 

Next Wed-Fri, according to my dealer, is the dealer meeting with Ferrari which should give details. Whether or not they preview the car, I don't know.

PS: you haven'missed anything in the last 50-odd pages!

Hopefully more substantial details will come out of those private meetings and reach the forums. I'm particurarly interested in knowing more about the new bodywork materials Ferr9000 mentioned a few weeks ago.

The 1st details will be released next week to dealers in a secret location by carrier pigeon in morse code with an impenetratable Cypher .... and here on the forum by some of the v well connected f-chatters a few milliseconds later . .... thinking about it maybe a Daisy Duke lookalike draped over the aerodynamically wind tunnel tested bonnet would be a good reveal to dealers to ratchet up the anticipation even more . Naturally to keep the dry weight of the GTO/VS to approx 1300kg she would need to be wearing a thin lightweight bikini....... ;-)

I was told they will actually see the car next week - so I'm also waiting for details...

My dealer did confirm that they will be viewing the car. I trust his word.

 

And its been confirmed that it wont be called GTO as well. Again until its actually known - its still not 100%.
