Marchione has mentioned in the past looking at using gullwing doors so a two door car could have easy accessibility to the rear seats. The FUV will be interesting to say the least.

Well.....I bought this shirt in 1999. It was done in response to bmw's X5 and the thought from other car makers to come out with an SUV. I guess it doesn't hold true anymore...... Image Unavailable, Please Login

Will still hold true if future model is named a "FUV".

They should keep the Lambo covered up like that.

I promise you, guys showing up in these cars are free game for mocking.

No amount of camouflage can hide that frumpy design. A big disappointment.

Remarkable for Lamborghini, actually. Whatever one might think about them, they were always known for taking design to a different level. The Urus looks like it came directly out of the Audi design studio, which, I suppose, it essentially did.

They showed the concept in 2012 and it looks basically the same... I think it looks OK, but for the price they're charging OK doesn't cut it...

The Urus is a bit dissapointing. It’s a german car with italian marketing. But with Audi and VW in the DNA, it will be a good car. Boring? We don’t know that yet. But will it be good? Yes.

So... now folks. Think about this. Ferrari will reveal an SUV at some point. If the Urus is the best Lamborghini can do with help from Audi and Volskwagen, I can’t think of any bigger disaster than a Ferrari SUV with parts and electronics from a Dodge Durango and Chryslers trash bin.

    May god help us all

I have a different take. While I would prefer they don’t produce an SUV, I’ve resigned myself to the fact that it is coming in some form or another. So, given that the Urus is a styling dud (I’m sure it’s a very nice SUV otherwise), Ferrari now has a remarkable opportunity to separate itself from the entire field and do something extraordinary. So, I may not be an SUV fan, but since they’re going to make one then make it the most amazing SUV there is. I expect that is precisely their plan.

Today seen in a German magazin, the Ferrari SUV. Status: Ferrari is checking the market, rollout not before 2021, with V12 and V8 tt incl. hybrid technology, more power as a Lamborghini Urus. Probability high.

They write next to the picture (it is not a real photo): "Ferrari SUV. The most unthinkable Ferrari comes within reach. Flat, four-door and four-wheel drive, From 2021 it could start."

In the text they assume that the Ferrari SUV will come. Reasons: the SUV segment is still by far the fastest growing segment and we will see a lot of new luxury SUVs from different brands, Ferrari knows that many fans want to drive a car with more space and of course the Urus from Lambo, Ferrari does not want to unnecessarily lose customers to Lamborghini. The technology carrier they see in the upcoming GTC4Lusso which will have for sure an AWD.

So a Lusso with more ground clearance. A concept I like. I hope they style it better than the current funky design though.

I bet it will be very successful commercially, namely in the Middle East and China, perhaps in Europe and North-America while it's the flavor of the week.

From an enthusiast's standpoint: nothing short of sacrilege. Ferrari has sold its soul (quite literally) and there's nothing to shelter the petrolhead from an easy buck. With the prospect and promise of profit, nothing is holy anymore.

And in my humble opinion: The Urus is far better looking than that FUV.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.
