wife has Maserati Levante suv now. Considering a FF or 12c for wife as DD I know both cars have very different profiles and practicality Which do you think is best value at $150k and which do you think will hold value better? She is avid sports car driver so not huge concern on the 12C
FF. It was designed to be a DD. The 12C, while having many DD characteristics, ultimately was not designed with that focus. There is more to a DD than ride comfort.
Agreed. You want to be able to put more than a shoe box equivalent cargo in a DD. Having 4 seats is also handy, even without kids. Also, rear visibility is bad on the 12C, at least compared to an FF. I would also feel more comfortable with a 30Kmile FF than with a 30Kmile 12C. Regarding value I would say the FF is closer to bottom than the 12C. 12C is being affected by the high number of new Maclaren models, and is the ugliest of them all (not considering the fugly Senna though...).
Don't you get snow where you live? That alone disqualifies 12C. Went through similar process and ordered new Lusso for my wife.
I sold my 12c after 7 months of daily driving it and a road trip to NY from FL.. loved it, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder truly considering I think its the most beautiful/sleek of them all lol, but I also like the 360/430 which all have a similar headlight/front end look I got into an FF as a new daily and loved it for over two years.. electrical quirks happened on both and well for the FF, i just couldn't take the electrical gremlins and constant battery issues, both were mechanically reliable though however.. FF way more of a DD, and much nicer cabin to be in for me, I'm a bigger guy. For a woman I guess that doesn't matter I still have superleggera , will get an f12, however for my sports car daily (have a luxe daily s cab) i just got an amg gts edition 1... man what an awesome car, maybe something to consider? (to the OP)
I’ve had both and they are very different as you would expect. If daily really means daily, only the FF is suitable. I happen to prefer it as a car because I used mine regularly. The mid engined format is more exotic and if weekend blasts or long road trips in search of twisty roads are on the agenda, it swings in favour of the 12C. That V12 though...
