I got a call last night that I am definitely going to get the first one in the USA!!! I am so excited!! They are going to fly me to the factory to watch final assembly!!!

Not sure if this was already posted or not, but FChatter NeilF said he already reserved his (on instagram, two days ago).

 

Basically because of his age he was 82 when the LaFerrari came out - Ferrari were right in doing so
because it would have ended up in an estate sale instead they gave the allocation to someone that
could keep it and enjoy for a long time - That's my 2 cents worth

 

Such a letdown. I wrongly assumed when the slide show was posted we would get a real view of this thing. Oh well geuss I have to wait until next month like the rest of the world.

Well yes, he did get a LaFerrari but was turned down on the Aperta,after sending a cheque for $1mio to Sergio as a deposit.With his history of racing and owned Ferrari's not surprised he was a tad cheezed off.

 

That's it - The front nose is entirely different and the rear spoiler is evident IMO

Unlikely, but this suggests maybe Black Holes might be available painted? What price can Ferrari put on Carbon wheels if a tiny cup holder was $3,000+???

Keep in mind all these "leaks" came shortly after news about the 720S being so fast hit the pipeline. Ferrari releasing info this early is merely trying to let their customers know something "special" is in the works to prevent many from jumping ship.

Those that want an allocation will get one, assuming some history beforehand, just a matter of when. This is NOT a LE car, so just depends on allocations, which also depends on how many of the "unfavorable" cars (Lusso, Portofino, etc.) a dealer can sell to increase their allocations on their "favorable" cars. This is why some users on this forum are saying they're locked in by purchasing a Lusso.

Dealer allocations works this way, everything else is just pure marketing/hype.

 

He should come on the forums and give some info....I think he might even be the one running fchat instagram page.

 

Well job well done. Swiss watch companies (AP, Patek etc) do a similar great job. Happy to feel it was difficult as it makes the anticipation even better.

BTW if I get one great and if I don't its not "the end of the world". There are more important things in life.
