Its what everyone else has been doing........
The hood is carbon So I wonder if they will offer a Satin or Gloss carbon finish ?? Same goes for the spoiler and nose. Although I wouldn't do all three together
Exactly my thought. Laptime better than TDF, a bit Slower than LaF, hybrid 498/499 in 2020 will beat LaF
That would look just awful, the clash of black with its jigsaw puzzle outline around the bumper, headlights and fenders. Not to mention the fussiness of the weave. There's a reason they paint cars and usually in one color.
Ferrari will really push hard with these next VS/LE models, as Sergio said he wants more track-focused car diffeentiating from the GT daily driving Ferraris. Well, I can tolerate a FUV if then the VS are pure racing beasts
If they can do paint to match those parts being done in colored carbon. That could be cool. Difficult to match though.
Let's guess how many new unnecessary threads will be started over the next 36 hours about the 488 SSS.
First new Ferrari I've liked at first glance in awhile. So excited this morning. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
And all the ones after the private view and the online launch and the Geneva launch Lets also contemplate how many of these posters will feel aggrieved at being called out because they haven't tried to look to see if they are posting anything new........
Ok I have updated information that this car will be called the Ferrari GM. This is apparently info from the factory.
I'm still feeling a little underwhelmed and was perhaps expecting a little more in the aesthetics, but then we have seen so little that I am hopeful the rear will win me over. Currently it looks like what it is, a slightly modded 488, and so I am not slavishly loving it just because it's a new Ferrari, not just yet. I know it will drive like something very special indeed and so will not be disappointed there, but I do want my heart to beat faster when I see it, and at present, it's not. It's not to say it won't when we see the full car, its just a cold opinion on one rather average blurry photo. It just shows what an astonishing job they did with F12/tdf. That made, and still makes my heart leap out of my chest every time.....
