I'm not exactly sure when they changed color but I think it was later than '80 more in the QV range. But I thought like you did, it wasn't correct for my '78 but it was too nice to pass up. If you'd like it just let me know for sure.

I'm gonna just put the rest of what I have up now and I'll do a single post with recap of what's left.

Up next is the tool kit. Again this didn't come with the car and I found it somewhere and just grabbed it. When I bought it, it only had the wrenches and screwdrivers. I added what I think are a correct pair of pliers and also the correct spark plug wrench for a late 308 also. Full disclosure the tools I bought came in a beat up pouch and I also found a pristine pouch here on Fchat. So while this set was somewhat cobbled together it should pass the most strict inspection as a correct set for a later 308. If I were to add up what I paid for it all I'll probably be losing money but I want to move this stuff so am going to price it aggressively at $1,000 even, shipped to the US

Up last are a few odds and ends that I've found.

A dash cover. I bought this when I first got my car because the dash was ripped and held together with electrical tape, yes electrical tape. So I bought this to use until I redid the whole interior. It is custom fit to the 308 dash and did a great job while I used it. $35 shipped

Reproduction emergency window hand crank. Again these things were usually missing from the cars and someone here made some, don't remember who but I bought one. This is not an original tool. $40 shipped.

Last but not least I have a used carb car throttle cable. I bought and installed a new one because it was sticking but it turned out to be a bad bushing on the carb linkage. So this is used but would be good for back-up to use in an emergency. $25 shipped.

OK, actually last I have the rat chewed tool roll that I bought and replaced with a better one. If someone wants it on it's own just pay for shipping and it's yours. Or the first person to buy any of the remaining items can claim it for free.
