I start to be really bothered by the black taillights... really looks like blackened novitec stuff. It's even more obvious on light colors
just like mine and pretty much every 812 I have seen so far - straight diffusers are definitely in the minority. I have had mine on a hoist and there is just nowhere to adjust given it is a single piece. My dealer has informed Ferrari so let's see what the response is.

Sorry I was being obtuse. For blu electtrico, I waffled in my mind between the different finishes on this optional wheel style. I ended up spec with dark grey. On my 458, I have a bicolor F1 Nuevo Rosso Scuderia 2007 on body and black on top. I picked the darker grey wheels. I personally do not like black wheels for the exact reason you mention about contrast. Well, that is my personal like at least.
Is this the lighter grey finish on the wheels? I feel embarrassed that I can’t tell. My 458 dark grey wheels look so different in brightness based on the lighting that it leads me to the question.

Best to check on the online configurator - But it looks like Forged painted rims in the lighter shade - Dark ones won't look nice IMO http://car-configurator.ferrari.com/812superfast#config/1|c0029||100b000|4003e||20100000||800|52|400|||||||||4028000||2001000|4||7f804000|1ff
This looks like the tri strato yellow. It looks much better in person than the photos often look. It photographs more muted than it really is.

I’m impressed with how the car tracks under hard acceleration. I bet the sophisticated stability electronics were in play and they certainly performed superbly. Witness other sports cars like corvettes lambos which fish tail under overly aggressive throttle inputs. Although the snow looks beautiful, those white snow banks will quickly bend an 812superfast’s body panels!

I've seen here some pictures and comments about some of the 812 diffusers looking not leveled. I decided to check the 812's many pictures of the rear available on instagram and other sources and fortunately arrived to the conclusion that's a pontual situation. To check how well the diffuser is leveled I used a simple method where to start with two parallel red lines were drawn, one through the center of the rear lights and another on the lower section of the exhausts. A third green line parallel to the red ones was placed on the top edge of the diffuser to view the deviation. The first picture below shows a perfectly leveled diffuser and the other are the only ones I found with diffusers that seem to be not perfectly leveled. Charcoal alcantara contrast stripe and charcoal alcantara carpets? Or a lighter shade than charcoal? Looks good.
Although that looks like a lot of fun it has to be said a Lusso would have been out of sight by the time he got that under control.
How are they getting the black lights - I requested them and was told they wouldn't do it, so are these fitted by the dealer?
Nice work, but I think not completely convincing; depending on the view there is a perspective effect that would require the parallel lines to be drawn not parallely... on the first picture one can notice the lower lines do not cross the exhausts pipes at the same level left and right, so that the diffuser that's aligned with the lines is actually slightly tilted - which is also confirmed looking at the lower part of the bumper: there is more distance between the bumper and the diffuser at the right...
