I feel like I know many of you since I have been reading thousands of your posts over the last couple of years, but I finally, formally joined the club with the purchase of 55281 an '85 Euro. Actually took possession on October 5th last year and it has been at Ferrari of ATL since then being mechanically restored: a complete engine out service, new clutch, new suspension, new brakes, all new water/fuel lines, speedometer repaired, new window motor, some minor touch up and complete detail. I of course had a PPI done on the car before purchasing it and knew a lot of work was needed, but I couldn't be more thrilled with making a childhood dream come true. Here's to hoping winter is almost over!

Beautiful 308. Noticed your title post. Many of us are older than you think. But most of still feel younger than our age. Maybe its the 308!!!!!

Congratulations SD! I remember how I felt the first day I brought my car home (85 Euro QV) more than 25 years ago. I still enjoy owning it. I think you will enjoy owning yours as well.

I can't believe how old I am, I refuse to accept it!

That is a beautiful 308, congratulations. I joined the club about a year and a half ago.

Yep....Im reading this thinking about my age now. Gee thanks!

I bought it at 25, now I’m almost 46! I still love this car, it’s looks, and it’s sounds. It hasn’t aged as much as I have!

PS...what is that heat shield off the rear header under the air intake?

    Seems like a good idea

Wow! Pretty! We also have a Euro '85! Love that car. That engine looks beautiful! How is the new suspension? That is not too far off for me... What exhaust do you have?

    Welcome!! Enjoy your new car!

The new suspension is AMAZING! Had the koni shocks rebuilt and all of the bushings replaced. Drives like a new car...better than new! Honestly, not sure what exhaust it is, the original was replaced in the late 90's by the previous owner, but I am debating putting an original back on to potentially have the car Classiche'd. Haven't made a decision yet, but since the car is all original besides the exhaust FofATL is respectfully "encouraging" me to go down the Classiche path.

Congratulations Scott. Beautiful. I bought my first Ferrari (an 87 GTS) in my early 50's...still have her and never regretted the purchase for one day and can't imagine selling it ever.
