Had the same thought and sent him a "Friend Request"! No response so far--he probably thinks I'm phishing

Flashback - February 1987, Automobilismo magazine. Formula 1 driver Pierluigi Martini drives his Downdraft in a piece where the magazine went out on to the Autostrada and recorded a terminal velocity of 295 kph (183.305 mph) using Correvit electronic timing equipment attached to the rear of the Countach. They calculated the speed @ 5th gear per 1,000 rpms to be 39.8 kph, so this car was topping out @ 7,400 rpms. Interestingly, this Downdraft does not wear the EE.426.AK plates attributed to Martini’s car in the past, instead it is the EE.202.AK that is featured in the factory’s own Press literature (including the owner’s brochure) and more. The car was wingless and sported a standard, exhaust system. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would love to find out which chassis number this is. Replete with Automobilismo stickers in the factory yard. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lamps Ablaze. Few things can duplicate the experience of a blast in the Countach Image Unavailable, Please Login
We uploaded a few images to our Flickr account, I wont even try and embed them here as the transfer process degrades the resolution significantly, instead, here are a few of the links for your viewing pleasure: https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/26084055348/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/26084037648/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/26084020598/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/26083982588/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39058706515/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/28177115899/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/28177101759/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39246510274/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39058617525/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39956651581/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39246440704/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39956551291/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/39924665392/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/28176935979/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/25085391117/in/photostream/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/joesackeyclassics/26083750828/in/photostream/

What a collection. FLA12831 perhaps one of the most beautifully original Downdrafts in the company of a Stratos and Turbo Carrera of similar disposition, all 3 icons belonging to a thoughtful gentleman collector. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not fully restored, but Bianco/Bianco is sought after, a client has turned down $750k for his, so yes, this appears to be a nice deal.
