How about we vote to remove all the twits at FIA and LM instead.

Most will be and you can be sure that they won’t be paid because “this is such an awesome opportunity”. Cost saving and no women.....yeaaaaaa!

Great idea but completely separate from grid girls.

If Liberty Media owned an NFL team would they fire all cheerleaders? Lets have kids stand there in their team uniforms instead. The fans will love it... FAIL.

    Just one more nail...

    Hi Andrew

For our information what happened to the thread that was N/A then disappeared completely:

It was moved to the P&R forum because it inexorably went political.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I hope the kids will get proper ear defenders , ohh hang on maybe they won't even need them ..as we move more and more to alignment with F Eeeeuuwww .

Joking apart ,an F1 grid with all the noise and equipment that goes with it and the cars coming through to the grid is not a place for kids, one twisted ankle or a foot run over will be the end of it all hopefully.

This is rampant cutism and must be stamped out. Imagine the long-term damage these children will suffer when they realize they were exploited for their dimples and freckled noses.

    My question is....

Can you expect 8 to 10 year children to stand basically at attention holding a sign on a hot tarmac for 30 minutes at 110 degree high humidity and not have them get sick, fall over, or just give up?

No way, within the first few races we’d have our first ‘such and such driver/mechanic/team boss groomed our baby’ claim and f1 will be out of existence. F1 is a grown up sport, it’s not a fairground. Grid girls yes, grid kids hell no

This is even stupider than getting rid of grid girls.

If they had an F1 race in California it would be required each kid had a teacher with them to teach them "schooling" in the off minutes.

It is impossible for F1 topics these days not to get political.

Because F1 is being used to make political statements.

Either leeway has to be given, or we can't talk about F1 in the F1 section.

Why not hold a raffle like the day before race day where they pull random numbers and the winning fans hold the driver signage on race day whether it's a male (wearing Ferrari clothing), female (wearing Ferrari clothing) or kid (guess what he/she is wearing). I'm more than sure fans would love this. (Note: make sure fans are not in a drunken stooper). :D
