488 GTO ?

Wow, that rear looks fabulous! There seems to be absolutely loads going on in terms of aero, but it also looks great from what I can tell. I suspect this is a significant step ahead in terms of road car aero without resorting to huge wings and exterior protrusions. If the rest of the car is as aggressive as this in terms of performance and development we are in for a real treat. Can't tell you how much more this shape floats my boat compared to a 720.

I think body painted diffuser is the best choice for 812, really beautiful as the body painted air intake fins in 488 gtb. Also Ferrari thinks that body painted diffuser is more good looking than black plastic or CF ones. In Assetto Corsa they releasd their licensed car with body painted diffuser. It's justa simulator, but it means something. Anyway, to each their own tastes.

488 Monza would be awesome.

 

It's looking very promising indeed, it's looks very aggressive / racy and I love that. Overall, I think it looks great. Which, funnily enough, isn't a feeling I didn't have 4.5 years ago when the first pictures of the 458 Speciale were revealed. But boy, did that one grow on me! ;-)

In terms of name, they could call it 488 Mickey Mouse for all I care!

Very aggressive rear diffusion. Which is clearly detached from the body-work, as the side-angle shows.

 

Challenge cars have Sabelt 6-point belts. 4-pt are pretty useless in a race car

Somebody said that name begins with P. If that's true, not many names remain.
With Italian names, 488 Mugello or 488 Monza are the best possible.
