If I was in the market for a GTC, I'd rather buy one the ones you listed such as...

A very rough unrestored car with restamped engine and a very molested vinyl interior !! Non matching engine is probably more of a handicap than the guida destra conversion.
D'yer like the way this dealer principal (apparently) has tried to mask the fact this a LHD car. https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Ferrari-308-1981/OAG-AD-15665040/?Cr=4
This would, going on the description,be pretty good value IMO. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-Testarossa-1988/SSE-AD-4963784/?Cr=3
Exactly.......I read through it and looked at the pics on the iPad......I then had to enlarge the first photo on the iPad to see the real story behind the price......What a DH....All he is going to achieve is wasting other people's time as well as his own......
I agree, assuming it includes the original wheels and has had the diff carrier upgrade. Not as desirable however as the earlier high mirror / centre lock wheels cars. I'm always amused by the tiny brakes on TR's - what on earth were they thinking?
Love the colour but not the wheels or interior.....Would have been stunning in a Nero / Crema combo.......
I took my car to work yesterday out at Scheyville National Park where they filmed Brock, so quiet, windy Roads lovely location ,at lunch a couple of my colleagues wanted a go in the passenger seat ofcourse I obliged but after 3 quick runs It was obvious the brakes where when hot non existent is this common there’s plenty on the pads and disks like new Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Some things to look into mate : 1. the type and age of the pads 2. brake fluid , change it to a high performance variant (the fluid should be changed periodically ayway) 3. check the rotors for glazing (doesn't affect fading which is what you seem to be getting) 4. check the calipers for correct operation I would put my money on the brake fluid though the most likely suspect
Would save a lot of checking as I intimated above I'd have to commit suicide before I did that though .................. the mere thought of driving a porker makes me weak at the knees
But they don’t sound and feel like a blue Ferrari and then there’s all the delightful individuals you meet during your Ferrari Experience it’s just a win win warm and fuzzy time of life after years and years of buying magazines ,the cars been a stress free fun and financially affordable hobby I’d recommend to just about anyone with a no brain and a death wish [emoji56] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Have you driven a 911? They are wonderful driving cars. PP and I had trouble keeping up with Mel on the Great Ocean Road a few years back. As with everything else I sold, I wish I'd kept it, mostly because I could have made even more money on it Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
360 brakes are appalling considering the performance on tap, it’s even worse when you consider they used the same brake setup on the first f430’s with considerable power increase. Later the CCBs were standard ofcourse. I fitted braided lines, endless brake fluid and pads from performance friction the brakes improved quite a bit but not enough to feel totally happy with the brake performance.
Thanks mate good to know it’s not just me my god after 10 minutes on off brakes at pace they just disappeared at the end of one road ,would drilled disks help or is it just the size vs power Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
quite normal for a Ferrari of the period, that's why people spend money on brake upgrades. You should be changing the brake fluid every year in any case, but unlikely to change brake performance. If 360's have air ducting hoses to the front brakes, check that they haven't been dislodged. If no ducts, buy a set for a 360CS, they're available and easy to fit. Otherwise slow down a bit and don't use the brakes so hard, the car will go around corners faster than you think.
