I see no point in revealing car to media today, few days before showing it to selected customers. And still it would be plenty of time between Feb 20th and Geneva motorshow to show it to whole wide world.
I am hungry not only of photos, but of numbers, to know what it is capable of. I would also like the lap time at Fiorano ... which however with the 812 has not been declared.
For the 488 GTB the so-called "private preview" was held on Feb. 18th and Feb. 19th of 2015 in Maranello, and official pictures were released on the web a few days before (I do not remember exactly when, but it was definitely before the customers preview). For this new 488 Sport Special Series, the "private previews" are the video events at the dealerships (planned for Feb. 20th and 21st) so it would be similar to get the pictures now.

Mamma Rossella is the best. Tagliatelle, tortellini, lasagne, gramigna con salsiccia. Beautiful Ferrari Memorabilia restaurant and beatiful cooks/owners, really nice persons.
The invitations issued in the UK for the Tuesday 20th preview state “...join us for the official naming of the New V8 Sport Special Series” - if that is part of the plan then why would they release the name four days earlier??
