Have you used it successfully before? I hope if functions as well (or better) than the Kluber grease at a small fraction of the price. I eagerly await your report!
No not yet but i don't need to. I work for a big industry so i know a little bit about grease. The specs from the redline synthetic CV-2 grease are much higher than the Kluber ( the temperature range for starters ) . Kluber is just a brand of grease like molykote or Valvoline or Gastrol .....and many others. Nothing special about the kluber HB 72-102 bearing grease.

With the flywheel requiring the flow of the grease for the self balancing (as i read and understand it), wouldn't that particular temp range (and viscosity change) be needed for flow? or what is the REAL purpose of all that grease. (directed to patrick, not to hijack) sjd engineer who knows not enough about grease, and just used kluber in his flywheel R&R.
Indeed. Great cars ( that's why i have one ) but i hate all the Ferrari bla bla. It is just a car with an engine, from the 90's. And the grease is in there to ................... surprise! : lubricate the inside ( and damp some vibrations from the springs). You can't balance anything with grease, believe me. The g forces will force it to the outside and divide it evenly anyway. The viscosity from the Redline is about the same as the Kluber.
As I understand, the Kluber grease specified for the 348 flywheel is Unisilicon GLK 1301 (silicone grease) and not Klubersynth HB 72-102 (synthetic grease). Stooge style shift cable lubricating. Made a little pouch with shrink tube.I used shrink tube with glue inside. Seals perfect. Hang the cable somewhat upwards , fill the pouch with PTFE penetrating oil ( refill a few times over the hours ) and let gravity do its job. Comes out the other side after a night or 2. Found out the shrink tube only on the brass parts works best like on the rear cable in the photo. Smaller shrink tube to be used. Image Unavailable, Please Login

TO bearing seals are bad and bearing is full of hydr oil. Going to replace all. Clutch was leaking , now i know why.
I hope you are right because I'm going to try it too! $16 CAD for a jar of Redline CV-2 and it's enough to do the job twice. My clutch is in good shape but I'm going to repack the flywheel and hopefully solve my hot-start issue. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

How did you settle on 230 grams? According to my Work Shop Manual, both the dual and single clutch flywheels should have 180 +/_ 5 grams of Kluber grease.
