Probably the only way to avoid leaks is for Ferrari to reveal the information before or simultaneously though...
they might have realized there was some buzz and the clients themselves would be leaking info from the 20th private presentations. Creating even more buzz.
My dealer in the UK is having dozens of people leaving work early on the 20th to make it to the preview in time. So it would only make sense that there they leave some meat on the bones for that day rather than do a press reveal just a few days before. Otherwise you have a bunch of customers not feeling "very special" as they find out just the name on the 20th.
Straight up orgasm denial by Ferrari, lol. So I guess this means I'll be wasting productivity on Monday and Tuesday now too, lol. Thanks Ferrari. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Someone told me today that Ferrari gave the photos out to the press today but they are embargoed until after the presentation on Tuesday
I would be very happy with 488 Daytona... Who brought this idea up? Any opinions on this idea? Sent from my HTC U11 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
They wouldn't have shown the dealers the plan if it didn't exist. Ferrari didn't expect some trader to post their rollout plan all over the place. Now they've changed their plans.
I woke up this morning with a big smile on my face but now........I'm just bored. I really really really wanted all the details to go over. I love the technical videos Ferrari puts out breaking down the key features of the car (aero, engine, suspension etc). I had fully planned on watching them and meticulous going over the details. At this rate the 2018 Ferrari F1 car might be released before the 488 GTO.......unless they play a sneaky trick and unveiled them at the same time. Which would actually be very cool
488 Patience (Hey, it begins with "P" ) Let's just wait until they are ready to make their presentation. I know it's very exciting, and yes, I jumped out of bed thinking "maybe there will be some pics on line today!", but I also enjoy the build up...
Both is right. Registered on document is 20.2. , but born on 18.2. Sent from my HTC U11 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
That seems to be correct, well-known car journalists were indeed present in Italy yesterday and today. We were mislead !!! It was not for us ....
it is as it is. so christmas was moved two or four days. a long weekend in front of us. embargo will be lifted at the same time as the dealer previews? but time zones.!? my preview party starts at CET (UTC+1) 18:00. Tuesday. (i will go together with my dealer principal to their main dealership at 17:00) AUS or NZL? are 9-11 hours in front. will F prefer that the Aussis could leak. or i guess they will launch it online before. so we in EU have seen already the car before going to our preview.
My dealer told me that all that will come to the reveal invitation will have to sign written agreements not to disclose any information until Geneva show or they will loose their allocations
NZ is at 08:30 on 21st and Thailand is st 18:30 on 21st so Europe and USA will, I guess, have live streaming, while we will have a delay.
This is a nightmare, cannot believe we have to wait till 6 march when LaF and every Ferrari in the last decades was revealed before. Come on, did they put that teaser online a month before??? Sadistic behaviour
Firstly, you need a confirmed allocation to lose it I'm not sure how they will get around that? I mean so many coming yet so few with confirmations.
