Ferrari 488 Pista

Ferrari waited too much, all this VIP stuff to then being anticipated by leaks...It would have been better to reveal all the things online last friday, making all the previews in January and avoiding this madness. It's only natural that instagram and all socials now publish pictures across half the world. The whole embargo thing is a mess, next time they will do as for all the models till 812 supefast and Portofino, much less disorder, much less problems, more happy people.

 

wow what is up with that front hood.

its soo deep and than you have standard bumper in front.

looks so strange.

unless there is some trick aero openings for that the more you focus on it looks ridiculous.

The name is fine. I don't love it or hate it. What matters is how the car looks and it looks awesome. I'm still trying to warm up more to the rear diffuser (a lot going on) and the plunging hood into the bumper, but I love the car. For what it is (a track worthy street car) it's fantastic.

Autocar UK are saying they got the pictures from ferrarichat - that way they deny responsibility for disclosing the pictures (they were already out).
Autocar Japan probably broke the embargo, so they then removed the pictures (when they were reminded they should not maybe...)

Makes sense but other major UK outlets haven't run with those leaked pics e.g. Top Gear, Car Magazine, Evo, Piston heads etc. Just Autocar.

 

This is true, but they didn't succeed apparently. Pics are already everywhere.

 

No Christmas card from Ferrari this year i guess...they will be damn lucky to get a car to test.Autocar can hang on for another 20 mins or so ..damage already done.
