Err... sorry, but if you're quoting correctly, that's surely not Blu Mirabeau, more like Grigio Titanio. Very different colours.
Grigio Silverstone with Painted SF Shields on sale in Italy (Magni e Carnevale Motors) Waaaay better looking! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree, however I would watch the video below and see the process in which it take to do this. The normal shields are basically slapped on the car so the labor is much less for the standard ones.
In that pic it looks like it has the proportions of a 275 gtb. I think the painted shields suit the 812 exceptionally well without being over the top.
I don't know. Some refer to them as hand painted. Plotted stencils is more accurate. Or you can say the standard badges are hand applied. That said I do like them better but not when they are bunched up too tight with other features such as the F12 TDF. For the 812, the standard badges are just too small for that area but any badge on the 812 looks too low IMO.
Paul, I just ordered a Mirabeau Blu 812 and thought it was the only one made so far until I saw your photo of what I believe is Mirabeau Blu in Monte Carlo. Was wondering how the car would look in that color and am stoked if it looks like your photo!
Is it me or does the painted shields on this grey colored 812 overwhelm the car ?? IMO they suit red colored 812's better. Just my 2 cents worth
Do you have an expected build date? I can’t wait to see pictures! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think you are right about the color. Upon closer inspection, that photo by Paul is not Mirabeau Blu but is GS. A bit of a risk to order an 812 MB since my other Ferraris were either black, red or white.
No date yet but the dealer says about 12 months (3/19) Grrrr; allocations from Maranello are running way behind schedule to NA for some reason.
You are right, upon closer inspection it is NOT MB. Wonder how my 812 will look in MB w/Sabbia interior?
I was told by my dealer that the factory is waiting on production for the USA so they will be 2019 models. I wonder if he knows some delivers have already been made?
