However the 'cocoon' concept is not so adept for navigating roundabouts! This, according to Nick Mason... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love my beetle's door height. I can rest my arm on it perfectly. Can't do that with many newer cars.
Most new cars make me feel like a 10 year old in a third generation Corvette. I'm sure there's a world out there somewhere, but nothing I can see from inside the car gives me evidence of it.
One of the first cars I ever sat in was a late 60s Mustang which had a fairly high beltline plus really low seats. So I grew up thinking that was what a cool car was like. As i got older and started to buy cars, I realized how claustrophobic that made me feel and grew to prefer a lower beltline.

Never underestimate the importance of color. When I was in the home building bidness, we would hire a colorist to design streetscapes. We would also follow color from shoes to clothes to cars to furniture to housing. Well, I say "we." That wasn't my wheelhouse. The only color I followed was green. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/28/magazine/what-is-the-perfect-color-worth.html
Nice. Best effort in a long while, including while still part of ItalDesign. Very recognizable as a Giugiaro design, actually and greenhouse kinda reminds me of these two (one better than the other - the other probably the work of Jr. ;-) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's kind of there, just very sharp-edged and preceded by an upward kink at the rear of the DLO lower edge, as used on some of their SUV's. Is this the "show" version of the upcoming new 3-series? That particular area is still the only area covered up on the latest spy pics: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’ll be shocked if they walk away from the ‘ Hofmeister Kink’, but they’ve done stranger things I guess
