I started a thread about it in the 488 section:...
I had the EXACT same issue on my 458 Speciale. Slow speed doing a U turn. In my case it did not clear overnight and had to be manually released. This necessitated a new ECU and AVH pads (been waiting 3 months for parts !!!) - So not only 488 related
Do you have the car back yet? If so has it had any more problems, and do you feel confident the failure is fixable? Iow if they can't identify the problem, what will a new ECU do except provide a fresh failure-in-waiting?
Since this is the picture thread, I will comment that the carbon lower insert is annoying to the eye in that picture. Might have looked better as an integral part of the lower lip itself.
Car is not back yet. The Speciale has been bullet proof and I have had it for 3 years. I think the failure is definitely an ECU related issue and it might go "crazy" at low speed under certain conditions. When I get the car back i will definitely test it VERY well
This is 488 Pista picture thread...... could you please open a new thread where we can discuss the bad experience with 488 and 458? Thanks
Interesting pics @TSOYBELIS Even with the official photos available, I've missed a little detail (actually, four of them) near the side vent.
And this is why I stopped visiting this forum 8+ years ago. There are enough cops in the world while I'm out driving my Ferrari, I don't need any more while I'm talking about them.
Car looks great, but have to agree. Not just Ferrari, though. Seems like all the supers like to draw attention to the tack-ons as if doing so makes the car look more special. Opposite effect. Less carbon/black plastic, not more. Integrate!

I had these pictures done in a spec im thinking about (colour is Azzuro Dino)....the guy did an excellent job. Think the one in the middle is a winner!!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fantastic! I am really torn between 1 & 2. I like the launch stripe at the bottom of the front splitter, but eliminating that in #2 actually looks more natural somehow.
Azzuro Dino is a great color for sure, but I'd prefer it without stripes. If I wanted stripes on this color, it wouldn't be black/yellow. I'd have gone with silver stripes and Azurro again for the middle. Just IMO
I definitely wanna see variations of different coloured stripes, hopefully once the official configurator comes out ill be able mix and match a bit more. Do you know if these are changes ill be able to do on Ferraris configurator and see the rendering immediately or is it a long process each time i wanna see the change?
I like the last one. The dipped front end "says" extreme to me, so why not extend the stripe over "all" parts of it?
Here is one more without the stripe on the front splitter. in the unfortunate event of a front fender bender, would repainting it the stripe be straight forward? Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would be very nice if some owner decide tu spec his own car with a livery inspired by the 2018 Ferrari F1 car, the SF71H. So a spec with rosso as a main color and stripes with grigio and nero. I think it would look very nice!
And without awful Halo on the roof GT are really beautiful in comparison with every single seater, even though 2018 Ferrari livery is really nice
