488 488 Pista Picture Thread

Needless to say, that car is loaded.

I absolutely love that alcantara clad cockpit

 

If it follows the usual option pricing for Ferrari, 4 CF wheels will cost more than the entire car.

 

Actually, this is disappointing. I remember when Ferrari engine bays were clean and simple. This looks likes spaghetti tossed in the back.

 

Agreed, awesome interior, charcoal was suggested?

 

Does anyone have a photoshopped image of a Rosso Corsa Pista with no stripes?

 

The side view of this car is just stunning. Its "hypercar-like". They did an amazing job. I can't say enough about the styling married with aero here.

But what really impresses me is that there is no bad view of this car. That's really hard to do.

And, there's no "retro" here. Its completely contemporary without styling gimmicks stolen from the past.

If form follows function, the Pista should be wickedly fast. If this is a taste of where the 488 replacement is going, I can't wait. Beauty may once again return to supercars.

I must say, I agree. I was on the fence at first, but I'm all in now. I really love my 488 GTB, but I will be very happy to get an Pista allocation. I think it will be a buy and hold car for a long time.

 

I don't care of the Mac 720s is faster than this. It's just beautiful. Its beauty will make it an exceptional hold. Someone really cared about what it was going to look like when they penned this car. That's so rare today, unfortunately.

 

Wow. That Ferrari back badge is tucked down in there. Odd they didn’t put it on the painted stripe

 

Rendering of what the Aperta version might look like. Pretty amazing but the coupe will look better IMO.

As a reminder: this was the camouflage of the Pista just a week ago.

It's amazing that it hid what's underneath so well. There is no way you could tell it was going to come out so well from these spy photos.

I'm betting the Lusso gets the hybrid first.

I prefer the Argento Nurburgring Pista over the red. That never happens! A very beautiful car. The design flows without any dorky elements.

So, who in Boston is going to start Wicked Pista Racing?

The cables and pipes were always there, just hidden.

 

Yah I know but it's like they don't care anymore. That's disappointing.

If you look under the hood of an F430 or 458, it's like a piece of art.

 

Perhaps cooling reasons; I don't really know.

 

The picture of the open frunk shows that a lot of luggage space was lost to the new aero compared to the other 488s. But I guess the Pista was not intended for weekend trips with the spouse or girlfriend.

 

It's just lazy.

 

somebody please take a picture of the option list in the bonnet!! the one in the previous page is so cloooose LOL....we so we can know what is option and what isn't!

 

Excellent CF 'winglets' around the tail lights ..... look sexy and possibly further smooths airflow ...... not that that matters - looks sexy!
