Isn't it !!!! I know the CS is a good car, and quite rare but 4 times a 360? Wonder what the dealer paid ?
I tried to do a deal on that car a few years ago with my 550. They were after 240K. They wouldn't come up close to the numbers I wanted so I walked.....Unless there are a 24 carat gold set of Jousting sticks that come with the books and tools tell them they are well and truly Fu##ing Dreaming at that price.....There is the lovely Nero one in the UK 3 owners at 180K and it has not moved....Even Steve would get 15K less on his car if he Coated his Paddle shifters in Gold..........
I think if you paid that sort of money for that car once reality set in you would feel like you had woken up in a ditch with a sore arse and no wallet.......

True enough but there will be a stack of duty on that I guess. The add says solid black. I think the standard Nero Daytona is metallic? 1 in 8 aussie delivered so they are playing on spec i guess PP just got in before me
What's happening is... There is bugger all left to with your money to get a return. The bank and stock market hardly fill you with confidence, so people who have money and have always wanted a classic car are enjoying themselves and most likely make tax free profit when in 2-5 years sell. Its all cyclical though so rule number 1 is... buy a car because you love it, that way if it all falls in a heap you are still happy.
Not all taxes paid....Stamp duty on 600k+ would be fairly hefty........As for UK verses Aussie thats been discussed to death on here.......
Oh ffs stamp duty is on both of them..... But import duty, LCT, shipping and gst would all need to be paid on the UK car, and then you're stuck with a UK car.
I guess thats why the 250 , BB and the other HOS non airbag cars in that price range at the museum are just as collectible but no stamp duty when you transfer into your name through the historic register......Cant see the CS being more than a 400k car in bad times.....
