I don't understand the point of this thread then. If you're so well versed in how this all works and the current market conditions, why not shut up and pull the trigger? We live in a free market society. Sellers can ask whatever they want...they don't have to sell to you for what you feel like it's worth. I highly doubt anyone with a Maranello is hurting to sell it.
finally a buyer! Congrats Stephan! I'm thinking of joining the ranks, the red one on 20" wheels keeps calling me. I also love the warm welcoming environment here and would love to stick around.
Good looking car, so the million dollar question is what was the hammer price? You are currently the 550 market, there's a red one near me I've been eyeing for 2.5 years I gave up on it bc the dealer wont budge $1 off $169,995
Have one very similar to the above photo -- neighbours car in my garage 50k km LHD lovely car -- he might sell for reasonable offer
I've been looking for a while and found this original paint, all documented California car. 24000 miles. Paid $1250000 I love the color combination quiet unusual. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very pretty. Alloy reminds me of the silver-blue on 63 Corvettes. Just the right amount of blue in the interior, too.
Congrats on the purchase, beautiful color! I think you've set a world record purchasing price for a 550, though!
@forstephan- Love your car and purchase price. Bought mine 2 months ago. 2000 Rosso Corsa/Nero with Red stitchings. 17k miles, 2 previous owners, complete service records, major belt service done July 2016. Good clutch and brakes.
