What will be the biggest surprise?

Not what "could be" or "would be" the biggest surprise but what WILL BE the biggest surprise (aka you expect it to happen).

Toro Rosso/Honda would be the biggest surprise. It would also set-up RedBulls "decision" on who they should pick come May.

Lack of testing due to first week's weather lead to massive DNFs among all teams during first six races.

Don't expect any of those to actually happen.

The 'biggest' surprise would be the Grid Girls making a comeback.

Haas a real podium contender would be amazing.

No matter how good Leclerc is he won't win a race this season unless due to extraordinary circumstances, so didn't vote that. Equally I have serious doubts of Stroll suddenly being amazing.

+1 on Haas. Very happy to see them podium this year hopefully

Stroll had significant testing last year and at Yas looked as lost as he started the year.

Carey has already softened his stance on that. I think there will be grid girls here and there.

I went with Alfa and LeClerc. I think he could pull it off given the right conditions, so it’s an actual possibility in my mind. Yes, lots of things would need to align, but this kid drove some absolutely inspired races in F2 last year.

That said, there are a few choices on the list that could happen. Max as WDC? If the car performs, that’s only a matter of time. Haas on the podium? Same thing. Only a matter of time.

But the one that I think will take most people by surprise, and might actually happen, is LeClerc on the top step.

I think that McLaren will be one of the top 4 teams, but I can't see them finishing ahead of Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull. And it wouldn't shock me if Max is a championship contender at some point in the season. I'd like to think the Sauber-Alfa might be a race winner, but I don't think it will happen. Of the teams that haven't won in recent years, I think that McLaren and Renault both have a shot at race wins.

The most interesting improvements will be Haas, Torro Rosso, and Sauber Alfa. And if Alonzo quits McLaren after the first race, they will pick Kubica to fill the seat.

What I would like to see is Ferrari win both championships. Also, I would like to see Toro Rosso finish 4th in the championship.
