Does anyone have photos of a total and complete 355 tool kit they are willing to post? Also, did 355's come with a jack set and emergency light? Lastly, any other accessories that were original when delivered, such as the tire inflator, car cover, etc. Any photos of these things would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Jeff, the little emergency light came with the cars. They sell for $250 ish on ebay. The tool kits vary from model year in style. Jacks did not come standard - I believed they came with the spare tire option.

Car covers were standard. I don't know about early models but late came with steering wheel and seat covers. My GTS included covers for the top too.

Interesting. I wasn't aware Ferrari's still used the same type of emergency lights as late as the 355. Very kind if you. Thanks, Dave.

Dave-My late 1995 came with the same tall tool kit, manuals, manual pouch, and keys as your early 1995. They definitely went to the later roundish key in 1996 and went to the short tool kit with the separate inflator after 1995. The answer as to when seems to be depending on who you ask. Some will say it depended on when the stock of the old tool kits were exhausted. I know of at least one person with a 1996 with the tall tool kit.

Thanks for posting the detailed pics.

Because it’s all about production date. You guys should start talking production dates instead of model years when talking about this stuff.

Mine is August of 95 and came with the tall tool kit with the inflator included. I know of at least one 1996 that also came with the tall kit so it sounds like late 95 was the beginning of the transition. I haven’t searched this topic in old threads, but I seem to remember reading a thread about this 2-3 years ago on fchat that suggested based on a lot of owner input that all 95s and most 96s had the tall kit and 97-99 had the short kit. Johnk’s scenario puts a dent in that argument.

Interesting - Grant, are you 100% sure that is original to the car? Guys, that's something to look out for - many kits got misplaced and others found replacements. I know for a fact I have the original stuff for my 98 and I don't have the flashlight in the manual (not saying 99's did not)

Pretty sure it is because my short tool kit is also different than most short ones on ebay as well. Mine has some fuses in it and most do nit that I have seen.

The light is in the owners manual. But at least it mentions fuses.

I have a spare trouble light with pouch if anyone needs one. The 355 I acquired a few years ago didn't seem to have one so I purchased one off ebay for $250. I later found the original tucked in the red bag that holds the car cover. I'll let it go for what I paid if anyone wants it.

97' model with a Jul 96' build date, have the short one. Tow hook is in the car, toolbox stays in the garage.
I do have the light in a bag, and the spider top tool kit with the white gloves ?
Don't have the extinguisher, do have seat and steering wheel red covers.
Don't know if any of it is original or replaced later. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have always been curious where the 7 bulbs in the tool kit go ?
    Anybody know ?

Well, there is always the possibility that the tool kit in my car is not original. (I wouldn't want to dent in anything.:))
