    Hey guys,

    Our new spray spray booth is fully installed and running - It’s a USI Italia Master series with a three sided mixing room. The three sided mixing room avoids contamination from walking through the shop between the mixing room and spray booth, giving us much cleaner paint work. It’s also a fully heated down draft spray booth, considered one of the best on the market. The USI Italia spray booth will increase production in the shop by reducing cure times and post process finishing work. In our mixing room we have Glasurit 55 line solvent paint and will be adding Glasurit 90 line water based paint this spring. We are factory trained and certified by Glasuirt. If anyone needs any paint or collision repair work please don’t hesitate to call us or stop by the shop for an estimate.

    I've seen it in person and it's very impressive.

    I'm waiting for Bradan to have a paint booth warming party where they demonstrate their body painting skillz with Desnudas. Rosso Corsa with perhaps an SF shield?

    Didn't know a spray booth could look that nice, very impressive!
    Out of interest, are you able to respray/repair a triple layer paint? Always hear how impossible they are to fix if there is any issue.
    That (and the $30k charge:mad:) has kept me from ever speccing one but curious

    Yes we are, its very time consuming to work with but not difficult. The issue most guys have is the time and working at a slower pace in a production insurance shop.

    2017 Maserati sprayed with Glasurt 55 line solvent base coat using a Sata 5000 HVLP gun with a 1.3 tip. Followed with Glasurit 255-923 clear coat with a Sata 5000 RP gun with a 1.3 tip.

    We had Iwata before but totally switched over to Sata and would never go back. I'm doing a factory tour in June, will post pics.

    1983 308 GTB had body work and prepped for paint.

    Final primer was tinted gray as a base for red. We used Glasurit 285-10/20 low voc DTM primer with a Sata 5000 HVLP gun 1.3 tip. Booth 68 degrees 15 percent humidity.

    Sprayed using a Sata 5000 HVLP gun with a 1.3 tip. Its an 83 so the lower rocker is painted red on the upper part and black on the lower section (thanks steve) over 3m body schutz. Black trim paint on the front bumper, door gaps, etc will be sprayed after.
