Drivers aren't happy with the ugly halo so far. Restricts views, not looking in their mirrors either. Fans can't see which driver (and **** looking for the yellow T cam), the onboards are entirely spoiled as all we see is the scaffolding on 70% of our screens....

They have all the ingredients to make it ****ing spectacular but so far it's as exciting as ordering lemon water as soup.

im with Ted on this one ''but Sky F1's Ted Kravitz criticised the stewards' verdict, tweeting: "Talk about not seeing the bigger picture: The red flag was for a loose wire on the startline, not a crash, and Ricciardo wasn't going to drive over it anyway as was coming into pits. Disproportionate 3 place grid penalty that could take home driver out of contention for race win."

Wonder what the next rule will be ?

Cars are limited to 300KPH due to danger of getting airborne?

Cars are limited to 220 KPH in wet conditions as it is just toooo dangerous?

2 race ban for overtaking into a non-designated overtaking zone (note, overtaking zones will only be on straight, maximum 100 meters away from the braking zone)

More of the same. Merc comes out for a Sunday drive while every other team has their hair on fire trying to figure it all out. They seem completely unconcerned in Barcelona...and for good reason. I’m sick of hearing “oh there’s more to come...blah blah blah” from Ferrari. It never translates to reality. If they and others have the pace and the car to beat Merc, they wouldn’t always be behind them. I just hope it doesn’t rain so we can have a good race and get a real idea what the pecking order is so we can set real expectations.

The fans should empty out of the stands to protest the Ricci's grid penalty. It's total BS,

If we get rain in qualy then the grid could well hold some surprises, which would follow through to the race even if it's dry .

Not at all easy to overtake here. Unless your name is Max.

Having to watch practice on the computer sucks. I lasted 5 minutes and turned it off.

The HALOs look infinitely more awful on the track than I thought they looked in pictures.

    Wow that halo is awful.

Haas looks shockingly good! Great job there. ‘Merica.

Ferrari haven’t shown their speed yet.....

ESPN3 did not stream well on my internet. Lots of pixelation and buffering, mixed in with really high-quality video.

I tried a few times watching streams you usually see posted on forums and just gave up, ads, restarting streams. If you have good internet then pay-for ad-less ones are great.

Agree....really, Hamilton's time was set on Ultrasofts, Verstappen's on super-softs.

    Nobody has shown anything yet.

Ferrari is failing so far. Unless it's sandbagging they are going backwards this year.

They may get away with it with bad weather this weekend masking the weaknesses. But yesterday was pretty depressing.

Yes I mirrored it to my Chromecast. I do that with Dodger and Golden Knight games when I can't get them locally. Not perfect but better than a computer screen.

A Chromecast is like $29 bucks or something. Useful when you want to put computer images up on the screen using your Chrome browser.

ESPN coverage is a joke. They haven't even shown FP2 yet and I already know the results from looking online last night...over ten hours ago. This doesn't qualify as live coverage, it is just reruns of old news.

I'm not interested in "rain" equalizing the field or mixing things up...I want to see who is fastest in the best conditions...where everyone has to put out 110% to get to the front of the grid. So far it looks the most interesting stories and racing will be mid-field.

Seriously some of these guys I can't understand when they talk.

Sky is talking to a different audience than the US. It's not going to work. You have to customize and localize your product to be successful

The US audience is not going to tolerate being second fiddle.
