Fantastic data-collection Bruno, better than mine, I'm sure!

Let me try and pull up what I have:

The first SV which I came across running & completing the 1996 Tour Auto was none other than 4978 piloted by it's long-term owner Yves Saguato.

Then next, I have 5030 (before it was restored back to gold) when it was red - below - but, something tells me my info on this one may be incorrect as it may have actually been participating in the Tour Auto d'Espana?

Then I have 4878, which you can see in the images above.

Then I have 5110, or, was that also Tour Auto d'Espana?

There is one more making fir a total of 5 which I can't put my finger on right now, I'll have to delve into the archives when I have more time.

Anyway, as we can see, Miuras can compete in and finish rallies!

Wow, impressive data-collation! Thank you for sharing, I love it.

BTW I have seen images of 4978 & Yves Saguato at the Tour Auto, but I cannot fund them! Do you know him? I can put you in touch if you like, he's Monaco-based.

So I guess we can conclude that a Miura in a competitive event is not entirely hopeless? ;)

Re: 3132 with SV rear clam.

As stated in the Coys description the rear clam did not come off 5100 which was never converted to an SVJ as far as I can gather. There are a number of convoluted and intertwined stories regarding 3132, 4956, 5092 and 5100.

Perhaps someone thought they were getting half of an "SV"?

Personally, I love it when people pay big prices for Lamborghinis but I feel a bit badly for this buyer

To put this one back to the beautiful P400 that's hiding somewhere under there is going to require not inconsiderable resources

From what I can see there will be very little work needed to restore it to P400 specification as there is not much evidence at all of there being any SV mods apart from the rear clam (wheels and chrome trim) which was not a new one one made specifically for it by the Factory/Bertone, but one from "another SV" which makes it a bitsa.

    Hello Andrew,

unfortunately I do not know how to send you a private message. (Maybe someone could be so nice and give me a hint on how to send private messages here). That's why I have to write my question in this Miura forum (which I read every day). I ask all others for understanding. Andrew could you please give me the auction result for the Lamborghini Jarama ? I personally looked at the car at the Techno Classica, but could not stay there until the auction.

    Greetings from Germany

    Zdenek :)

It would be good to see the 1974 factory invoices which the auction company says come with the car

"...as my eyes grew accustomed to the light, details of the room within emerged slowly from the mist, strange animals, statues, and gold - everywhere the glint of gold. For the moment - an eternity it must have seemed to the others standing by - I was struck dumb with amazement, and when Lord Carnarvon, unable to stand the suspense any longer, inquired anxiously, 'Can you see anything?' it was all I could do to get out the words, 'Yes, wonderful things.”

When I was invited by Lili Bertone to spend some time at Bertone facility, a charming lady "Jolita" was sticking to me in order to forbide me to shoot pictures of everything, but I still have my notes, and from what I can see, many things seem to have moved or even disappeared...

did they left legally or just have been stolen ?

    Impressive!
There used to be quite a few Miuras, Espadas and Isleros around here in Oporto, during the 60s...

Indeed. However, i don't understand something. Why is not anyone interested in buying all the collection, making a museum and exhibiting these (for some) precious and (for others) collectibles objects, parts etc instead of selling them in an auction? I never understood this. This is a treasure 'cave' for future generations. I believe that this wouldn't be done if these things belonged to a Ferrari 'partner' or coachbuilder like Pininfarina for instance. In my opinion, this is a 'crime' and Bertone family has a part of the responsibility for this not to happen.

I believe the second thing had happened like in some other 'collections'.

    My thoughts exactly.

I agree, the Bertone family are guardians of Nuccio's legacy, I wonder how he would feel about the way things have been handled?
