I dont think the family had anything to do with it.. my understanding is the auctioning of everything was ordered by the court.

That image is not high resolution enough for me to determine anything other than the fact that it is Blue, but I agree it does look really cool!

Without being 100% sure, i think Bertone's Miura was red with gold sills and wheels.

Is the car still in this "Targa"-modification?

No, the metallic orange Miura I imagine you are mentioning is not #4024 but #4425 (originally « Bianco »).
#4024 is Nuccio Bertone’s personal Miura and #4425 is the Miura of the Bertone Museum collection.

I think yes, but in another livery. It was silver and now green, or reverse.

I personally know the Person who had the normal P400s #4808 converted for him into the white giant, he worked as salesman at Lambo Motors that time.

Honestly the blue LP400s and the Jalpa Prototype are attracting me more from that Geneva stand.

    Agreed!

It's worth mentioning that although Lamborghini allowed this Miura on it's show stand, it was not made by the factory

That's correct, the factory did not make it, some advises were asked to the Reparto Assistenza at factory... but the factory gave to it credibility allowing it to be displayed on the stand...

what about the Miura Roadster ? it was made by Bertone... and released 1st time to Public in 1968 at Bruxelles exhibition on Bertone stand not on the factory stand...

That time Lambo Motors was one of the hugest Dealers worldwide, many german customers bought their countachs there since it was not homologated that time in Germany, all the Images with countachs wearing swiss plates with the Z at the end were swiss delivered cars owned by Germans. Later they imported and registred them officially in Germany.

As the Miura in general is not a masterpiece in stiffness, I strongly assume that this Targa-Miura must flex quite a lot in fast corners...

When Bertone made the Roadster did they convert a Coupe or make its Targa body from scratch? Does anyone know if anything was done to stiffen the chassis?

Bertone made its Targa from scratch, it is not a coupe modified...

it is a complete new design, of course from the original shade...
