MCLAREN 720S OR 488

What I'm getting at is that people who actually are out their testing their cars know all of the variables. Do it enough times and it becomes pretty clear which cars perform the best.

Not a slight at 488 but when people own multiple cars including a 488, it seems that it is not their first choice to bring to a performance event. Case in point is this group that I was part of a few days ago at a track event among friends. (enzo, f40, 570 mso x, mso hs, carrera gt, 2x tdf, gt4, gt3rs, p1, etc.).

What i nice line up, and the Enzo ...

 

All driven very hard and fairly competently. (around 1 minute mark is a few of the cars in the paddock).

Video of our track day by @forumulaphotography on instagram. Clips of interest will be at around 3:30 and 7:18. This was near the end of the day so it was just some fun laps.

Ha, great reply. I wish I got 10/10 every time I went out. I haven't even had a track day yet this year but soon....

 

10/10 on the streets, every day every mile...that sure would be a world first.

 

@SoCal to az is correct, some of the newer dealers are willing to sell out of state. Mine came was spec'd through Houston. Another friend of ours recently got one from Beverly Hills, and another friend of mine got his a couple months ago from Denver; both were uncollected cars in inventory.

It's an amazing car, as are its competitors.

 

This thread is an embarrassment, talk about kids arguing in the playground! These are all amazing cars - buy the one you like best and stop trying to convince others they made the wrong choice.

I guess so - the thread was good for a time, but is really ruined for me now with the likes of the guy consistently calling the Pista the “Pissa”.

(To be fair, the worst of it is from three or four particular McLaren trolls.)

 

Well I think Ferrari might have been wise to call it something other than the 'Pista' but maybe that's just because of my Ukranian heritage Nonetheless it is just a name and the car looks beautiful, particularly the silver spec I saw in videos from Geneva, and it should perform extremely well. I'd certainly be interested in one if it were accessible to me at MSRP.

 

Which comment hurt your feelings aside from someone referring to Pissa? That could just as well be an autocorrect issue.

My feelings aren’t hurt, nor am I angry, but I’m not going to waste time analysing the thread for you when the posts I’m referring to are so obvious. I’ll gracefully retire from the thread anyway now, I didn’t expect my comment to be taken so seriously (perhaps a conscience was pricked?!?).
