    Hey hive,

My driver's window won't go up or down electrically.

What is the manual tool/override and where is it inserted to wind the windows up or down?

    Thanks!

I used mine all summer of 2016. It takes about 2000 revolutions to get the window up or down.

Shortly after buying my car I found this goofy looking POS in the car somewhere and threw it away not knowing what it was or that Tony R could probably sell it for a grand.

A contraption indeed! However, one could make a duplicate if needed. The most difficult part would be creating the helical gear... Since mine is no where to be found, I guess I have yet another item to watch for and potentially recreate.... argh...

    Cheers,

    Sam

Yes, Ross...I hope you learned that lesson, never trow useless things away and surely not things you find in a Ferrari ..:p

This is one of the parts I'm missing for my 400GT along with the emergency light. Did both these items come with the car ? What's the part # on this tool ? I can't find it in the parts diagrams nor in the tool kit content listings.

    Thanks,
    Arvid

    # 410-30-880.....Ricambiamerica.com Illus # 207 item # 51
Mine was in the glove box when I got the car, I knew what it was....Wayne C. was looking for one for a Daytona on one of his CCC shows.
I said to myself...."that gear on the end looks like a window motor drive gear, hmmmm, yup, there is the hole in the trim panel right in the door panel..."

Mine was in my tool roll, I thought it was a cheap plastic bit from something else but something said don't throw it away.
