Desperately looking for 512TR emblem

Hey guys, some scumbag ripped off the "512TR" emblem on the rear deck lid of my car. It is a discontinued part from Ferrari. I have searched the usual sources, T Rutlands, Ricambi, Dennis Mccann and US dealers...nothing! Any ideas? Maybe some overseas sources? I may have to find the company that originally made them and have a batch made up as a last resort.

Ferrparts.com is parting out a 512tr.iam sure it's still on the car.Ask for Puna , he as always been helpful.

 

I tried both of the above, still nothing! Anybody? Any ideas? How do I get a batch made up?

 

I got a lead. Try Classic Coach in Elizabeth NJ. Speak with Carlos in parts. I'd be really surprised if they did not have it. Let me know how you make out.

That's what i'm finding. I need to find someone with a 512TR that will let me use the emblem to have a batch made. There is a need for them, everyone i've called said they have had other calls from people looking for them.

 

Have a photo of one? I will check at a few sources I know and see if they might have something.

Call Rocco tomorrow , he may have one handy, he services a lot of Testarossa's and 512trs ....he could have it in stock since the others are no luck with stock.

It was an OEM Ferrari part. I was getting ready to go the route of having some made up if I didn't find this one.

Funny ... in Eurospares webshop it says today: NEW available, To Order, £9.38 Each, Approx €11 ... (? less than $ 20 shipped ?).

But in the end this thread shows that soon simple and not-simple parts will be Not Longer Available (NLA).

Quite sure many Testa and 512TR owners already have one of these emblems as spare and will not part from them for this reason ...

But this is not new; with ALL hobbies you see the same ... if you can find one extra ... DO get it !

 

Finally did you get it ? I am now looking for the same.
