I´m a F1 fan since about 50 years but the race today was like a farce. you all have seen how vettel was passing hamilton, so this time a much better car than the mercedes, and at the end bottas was coming closer and closer. this is technical only possible if there would be any problems or to spare the engine or what I think more the race will be manipulated to make or have more show. sad this handing I only can say :( but if so much money is involved those who manage all are only intersted in more money and how to rip off the visitors on the TV. but not with me ! ! !

so thank you liberty ! ! ! for this bad event. F1 is should be racing and sport and not show like wrestling. and if you go on so may be you will get more spectators in the US what you for sure like and want, but not in europe.

    OK . . . . or . . . . it came down to tire strategy.

If you’re referring to Seb’s battles with the Mercs, that was ALL about tires. Hamilton was on a different strategy and at the end of his stint when Seb passed him. VB has mediums to Seb’s softs, which were beyond the end of their life.

Hamilton finished 6 secs behind Seb after the pass that you noted. Tire strategy is part of F1.

Three different tire strategies among the top three today. Provided you have on-track action to go with it, the varying tire strategies is one of the great parts of F1. Makes you use your brain while watching a race.

Kudos to Pirelli. Early days but seems that they've struck a nice balance between degradation which opens up varying strategies while being durable enough to let them race.

The last time F1 got rid of tire strategy (2005), it caused a lot of safety issues. No need to get rid of that aspect of the race.

I actually though the race was exciting, better than most last year, and commercial free!

When the bar is set low any bit of action is considered "exciting" these days.
