Sure, my point is it’s also pretty seldom you come across someone who is perfect :) We all screw up at some point.

Not sure if that's even possible on that street.

And my point was that sometimes the craziest and most unexpected things can happen to even the best of us. So unless the specific cause is known, referring to someone beset by misfortune as a dummy or a jackass just isn't appropriate.

Actually you could, coming around the right-turn feeder lane that merges at that point.

It's tough. I've seen people hop the barriers and cross the streets directly without using the pedestrian bridges. I'm guessing that the combination of high heels & their scantily clad state of undress might conspire against strippers hopping the pedestrian barriers at Las Vegas Blvd & Flamingo, but I'm sure there'd be a large number of gents happy to assist them! No, it isn't. I would rather contract bubonic plague than visit Vega$ ever again. It's a ****hole for ****heads. Nothing there interests me in the least.

Ever read The Stand? I'll take Boulder every time. :)

Well, horses for courses, despite being a ****head, I love it..... maybe it’s just the things you did there, or the place you stayed? Every town has a bad side, Vegas included, but I won’t hear a bad word about it. The people are awesome, the service is exemplary, and yes, it’s all designed to take your money. But I go to Vegas knowing I ain’t taking any home, and in return, I have the best time, every time

Never heard of ‘the stand’, I don’t think, is that a magazine/book/tv show, and is it based in Vegas (and therefore justifying the **** comment), or boulder, and how nice it is? I’m not even sure where Boulder is, but if it’s in the US, it’s probably a great place, most are that I’ve been too

I once went slap bang into the rear bed of a lorry on a motorcycle, and it was his fault. Travelling at 40mph, me behind him minding my own business, he brakes hard (for no reason it seems) and as he had no working brake lights, in the split seconds I had, I tried to swerve around him, but went straight into the corner of the lorry. Bike went up in the air, the force ripped my helmet off and tore open my throat, hurt real bad. Lorry driver cited for dangerous driving and faulty brake lights. So it is possible, but rare, agreed

I love the restaurant scene, & am an inveterate people watcher. No better place for the later than Vegas...T

Image if there were people who took pictures of everyone who got in an accident and posted it calling them a dumb person for everyone to see.
The pictures and comments says more about the posters than the accident.

Exactly. Everyone loves the court of popular opinion ‘til it’s their turn to be the defendant.

Some of the worst drivers I’ve known have been the fastest to bemoan all of the “idiots” out there, authentically oblivious to the fact that they are firmly among the ranks of the inept!

Just like when it snows, I never hear anyone say, Yup, I'm the idiot that can't drive in snow and I cause accidents because of it every year. Nope, EVERYONE says, well I can drive in the snow it's all the other idiots out there I'm worried about. ;)
