    New generator belt.
The old one (in new state ) was way to small. Belt tension was very, very high even with tensioner at minimum. High enough to destroy all the bearings.
Was installed 4 years ago by a big " Ferrari specialist" in the uk. Very well known.
They also the ones that changed a belt without tensioners !! Because the client didn't ask them to do also they told me on the phone. Can you imagine !
Name by pm if you want.

Now ok at +- 130Hz for both belts.

As we all know the "specialists" in every brand, they are after you're money and don't give a s**t, end off line. My opinion.

My local parts supplier told me yesterday that an official Ferrari dealership used (not any more) to buy from them the cheapest from the cheapest Chinese windscreen wipers ( in bulk !! ) for they're shop. Not even a good brand like Bosch or so, that was to expensive they told him. I suppose you can guess what the selling price was. My contact thinks they sold one wiper for the price of the whole box.

For who's interested. The dimensions of the tensioner pad.
The little hole has to be drilled.

The big one was barely used , so i had it cleaned. Strange, i know. Don't find any trace if they where ever changed. Here you can see that the used material is 99.9 % sure the same.
The shop told me both machined the same way only the old one was a bit more brittle (age, oil, ...?)

    Hi M
I should have listened. My clutch is already rattling and the car is having hot start issues. :-(

Going to re-grease my flywheel with the Kluber GLK1301.
So for everyone : DO NOT USE THE REDLINE GREASE !

It is very good grease but not for a flywheel. Lesson learned.

Sorry to hear this but it is nice for the rest of us to have resolution on this issue.

I bought the redline grease with the intent of doing this job but when I pulled the flywheel plugs, I could see that the existing grease was still quite thick. I elected to wait until clutch change to regrease my flywheel.

Opened the flywheel today. All the grease was still in there but already signs of gearbox oil and this after only 100 km's !!
How it can rattle like it did with all the grease present is a mystery to me.
Color of the grease has changed a lot for the very short time to drive the car.
These means the triple seals are leaking. Checked them out but nothing to see wrong.
Going to replace them by new ones (again) end redo the flywheel.

Wil check but think they are ok.
What bothers me the most is that the brand new triple seals are already leaking. :-(
