Well, if one can remove the Ferrari rooting factor (almost impossible for me), it was a fun race to watch. Of course, being the Ferrari home-boy that I am, it was at the same time, difficult to endure. Move on then . . .
Ferrari made one mistake, their pit was late and slow, there is nothing they could do about red bull pitting when they did, they were already on the pit straight when the safety car came out, and red bull executed perfectly. Had it been red bull one and two, and Seb third, I’d be happy, but nothing excuses the kid for being a total ****
Max is plain reckless. If he was smart he could have won the race. Reminds me of the driver he took the redbull seat from. ...kvyat. Seb was "Verstapened".
No I agree with you. The safety car and the teams strategy though was most of what happened. But a fun race to watch. I'm so tired of Merc 1-2's, especially in China
That one mistake made them make one more --- sacrifice Kimi's lead to try to slow up Bottas. If Kimi pitted the next lap the outcome would have been different. In fact, Kimi might have won.
Once again Ferrari snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. The pit stop put Vettle out behind Bottas instead of in front of him. And even though Kimi can drive fast (when he wants to) he is not showing that he can race, that he will push 110%. He should have taken Bottas for 2nd...but he didn't. Time for him to move on, or for Ferrari to move him on. Maybe, like Massa, he can get a couple of more years at Williams. Hamilton is driving like a guy with 4 WDC and who doesn't really want to work that hard this year. I just hope Ricardo doesn't drink from his shoe. Looking at them in the after race room, Kimi has the worst attitude of anyone I've ever seen...the gods give him a gift and he could care less. He's right up there with all the other one time WDC winners.
I think max was already angry and riled up when Elton pushed him off track then got too greedy when he saw vettel running a little wide. No excuse of course. Had he kept his head he'd have won the damn thing.
No... you are right. Certainly the most entertaining race of the season. Finally we had some action in the front and not only in the back of the field Was worth standing up Sunday morning Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
Was ZERO reason not to pit Kimi with RB. They ruined Kimi's race after messing up Vettel's and then ruined it AGAIN by not pitting Kimi with the SC to go to softs. Vettel missed the SC pit but Kimi didnt. RB made mince meat of everything on the softs and the Ferrari is way faster than the RB.
When I was a novice racer, I drove like max, it was spectacular when it works, and the crashes were enormous. Everyone thought I was a prick. When I learnt the whole racing trade, I started finishing more and winning more. It’s called growing up. Max is still a child in his mind, a race suspension is in order at this level, someone mentioned BTCC, there he will get killed pretty quickly as they put the manners on him Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ferrari are going to have to get a handle on their race operations. This is the stuff that loses titles. Which they already know all about. Clowns.
