Wow! Glad you’re both ok, and the cars too (in the main).
Scary stuff. That poor wheel. Glad you and the car made it largely unscathed. Sue the local road authority. Were you on the 407?
Well apparently you can make a claim and they will repay something. It was 401 express lanes before Leslie exit. Glad the wheel took the brunt of and nothing else (suspension etc).
Really sorry to hear and painful to watch... I guess it’s time to switch to summer tires on Lusso wheels then! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Some photos of my recently delivered Lusso. I’ve waited quite a while for the car and am delighted with it. I ordered it at the factory Atelier along with my 488 Spider which has been with me for a year now, to give you some idea of how ‘delayed’ the Lusso is. The car really is a step up on the FF, though it clearly retains links with that car - the way the suspension is trying to control the mass has some real familiarity. The rear wheel steering is a key improvement on the car - some have said in the past that the FF is a 12 cylinder 458. Not to me. Don’t get that link at all. However, the rear wheel steering gives some of the mid-engined car’s eagerness to draw you into the turn, but even despite this, there is a heft to the way the car handles - it’s a brilliant brute. Much more resolved than the FF though. By that I mean it has had some of the rough edges knocked off it, though it is no S-Class and it still has a way of moving that lets you know it is a serious performance machine. I love its looks, we spec’d it in a fairly sober colour - Grigio Silverstone, an interesting grey that actually has a very slight hint of green to it - because we want to use it regularly and put some miles on it.
