    just talked (Monday) with the living legend Ferrari test driver Dario Benuzzi: he still had a part in the 488 Pista testings and settings, and he told me that he "likes" the car handling. What an incredible man!

    DB is no more the chief test driver, he has retired and now he is "only" a Ferrari consultant, but he was asked an opinion about that model: he said he didn't like one (driving) feature, but then it has been "fixed" (very likely by de Simone) and he told me on Monday "now I like it". This means the car is fantastic, as DB is not a man that needs a lot of words to say something... ;)

    The factory is nervous about Bianca Avus having stripes because it has to go under the heat lamps a second time after painting the stripes and a slight yellowing could occur. I had to sign a waiver letter to get my TDF in Avus with Nart Blu stripes. I guess they want to test it on the new carbon painted parts to make sure there is no yellowing.

    Appears there is no wait or media embargo this go around. Which is great to see initial impressions and reviews. Not sure why the cars released to journalists are still camouflaged but still epic nonetheless.

    Anyone know when the configurator will be up and running? Will need to know which day I'm on my laptop for work but not working :) !
