    Is there a way, short of using vinyl, to reupholster these items so they won't shrink again?

    We use factory color hides with a UV coating on them made for aircraft cabins and boats same with the thread. The foam is a airplane cockpit material that doesn't break down from heat and UV exposure as well.

    It's important to use a sunshade regardless and leave the windows cracked open slightly when parked outside.

    Sir. Is the UV coating available as an application? Anything to avoid / postpone dreaded shrinkage.

    But, glass effectively blocks UVB, and windshields are specially treated to block UVA as well, but a car's side and rear windows allow UVA to penetrate.

    Chemical Guys also makes a leather treatment with UV inhibitor coating as well. Great products!

    The leather just above the centre vents on my dash is pulling back exposing the core of the dash. Can this be stretched without removing the dash?

    Looks like a nice product thanks for sharing guys, please report back with long term results eventually.

    One the leather is pulling on your dash its already dehydrated and past the point of repair. It has zero stretch left in it.
