I wanted to find out if anyone had anymore insight to companies/vendors that might make/have radiators for a 348? I found the post below from years ago and I contacted two of the companies, however, they don't currently have or make radiators for the 348 as I emailed them yesterday to ask. I found a company out of the UK and they want around $1800 for a new all aluminum one. Maybe that's the going rate?

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/348-radiator-replacement.263265/

It appears that the plastic piece of my right side radiator has developed a small leak and it made sense to me to replace it with an all aluminum version since I was told the existing/broken one couldn't be repaired. So if anyone has any insight into any other companies in the US that might make one that's cheaper, please let me know.

    Thanks!

Your welcome and I have no affiliation, but have bought pieces from them.

I suspect there will be some other UK options depending how stock you want it.

Ok, that's good to know that you've purchased from them before. I just got done emailing them so I will wait to hear back. The aluminum one that is on their web site looks like what I need and like you said, it's much cheaper than the $1800 I was quoted yesterday! Thank you.

So I contacted Saldona Racing and they were very nice. They don't have radiators in stock for a 348 so they wanted some pictures and some type of specs before they can quote a price. Since I don't currently have the car (it's in the shop) I will have to try to find this information to email over to them. I'm going to have to see what I can find though...

Apparently a lot of folks here sourced their Saldana 348 and 355 radiators from Brad Schrock at Euroquipe in IL (630-377-3774).

That comes from this thread, which contains pics of the 348 radiators installed: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/my-new-radiators-are-here.321214/

Keep us updated on what you find out. Sooner or later we're all going to have to replace our radiators.

I replaced my RH radiator with a Saldana Racing Products radiator about a year ago. I had a small leak at the base. It is far superior to the OEM. My receipt doesn't show who I placed the order with, but when I called the guy I spoke with was familiar with what I needed. He said "oh yeah the smaller one on the right." They had all of the specs and measurements for it already in house. It was a bit more expensive because it has the bung for the fan temp switch, but I paid $716 total (with shipping and all). Pretty damn good for a better radiator than what I had.

Thanks for the reply! I checked them out and interestingly enough, it looks like they might be the supplier of the radiators that I found on the Superformance UK site. When I drilled down to the products on the Pro Alloy site, it had a link to buy on the Superformance site. The radiators look the exact same! Thanks again for the link.

Thank you Mike and I will check them out! I did call Saldana and they said they needed size measurements and pictures before they could give me a quote. I'm going to see what I can find to send to them.

Oh wow, that's good to know! I just called them yesterday so I will call/email them back and see if they still have the specs lying around. That would really be great if they still had them so that I didn't have to try to scrounge up the information on dimensions, etc. again. Or actually have to send them my existing OEM radiator.

Oh and based on the pictures, it looks like you needed the left side radiator? That looks like the smaller one based on the pictures I've found. Nonetheless, I will contact them again and maybe they can double-check.

    Thanks again.

    Jeff

I had my indie replace both radiators with the superformance pro alloy versions as originals were not available. Even the indie specialist commented on how good quality they were and a step ahead of the originals. I'm very happy with them

First of all, thank you to everyone for the responses! So helpful!

Ok just an update on this...I called Saldona Racing and gave them the background information from the posts above. They can build the right side radiator (the short wide one) for $695 plus shipping. They said it will take 2-3 weeks to produce. They were very responsive!

It's all aluminum construction and TIG welded with a satin aluminum finish. Since my car was in the shop having the engine out service on it, he's going to go ahead and put this in for me. I saw in the previous thread that the radiators made were great except they didn't put in the holes to bolt on the fan. I'm going to make sure to ask about having them do this as well.

So long story short, thanks to everyone for all of the replies as it saved me a lot of money shopping around. Hopefully in the future someone will be able to use this information when they need one. My mechanic found an OEM for around $1200 and another all aluminum out of the UK for around $2000. So this one from Saldona Racing for $695 sounds like a good deal.

Here are two pics of the new radiator and a picture of it installed! It looks like a work of art! :)

And again, I had Saldana Racing fabricate these for me from plans they already had in house. The one thing he didn't know was if they needed to put rivet nuts into the holes were the fan screws into the radiator. I wasn't sure and hadn't heard back from my mechanic, so he just went ahead and put them in. My mechanic got back with me and said they didn't need the rivet nuts but he could just drill them out since the radiator had already been shipped. This brand new all aluminium radiator cost a little over $700 and that included shipping.

Let me know if anyone wants more information!

    Ha ha! So true!

I don’t have the car back yet as I’m waiting for My mechanic to test drive it. I had the engine out done on it which is why it was in the shop in the first place. So he couldn’t test drive it after all of that until the new radiator was put in.

    Thanks for the support!

    hanks

Looking forward to a road test report and some pics once you've had some time to evaluate the refresh.
