Yeah- looks like a really nice car.

Will be curious to see how long it takes for it to sell, and if we can find out what it actually sells for. Hope the seller does well!

It may have a title but what happens when you register a 97 in a state requiring an obd2 plug in test and they call you in for emissions?

Might have to get a show/race car exemption if your state allows.

I've been wondering that myself, but seems like you can transfer title without impacting registration. a car may not be road worth or undergoing restoration, so it means you should be able to transfer title, just not register it. now if you want to register for street is when it gets to be a problem, but car with roll cage shouldn't be on street anyway unless you want to wear a helmet around (what I plan to do).

In CT, they don't require inspection for cars 25 years or older. You could register it in four years for the street there. Other states probably have similar laws, though maybe slightly different age requirements for inspection.

Seems like quite a premium for the Newman connection to me. Still I hope it sells for high bucks!

also iffy if Newman connection. I heard it isn't the Robb Report car that he did one Ferrari Challenge race in, although both cars yellow. Might be possible he did other races in this other yellow car, but I'm not sure about that.
