    Good day Paul,

    The same thing can be said for the exhaust headers... On my (carbed) the upper headers are made from a different material than the bottom headers... I say this, as one is magnetic and the other is not and so the material composition is quite a bit different. To me this is very odd, but given that Ferrari liked to nickel and dime things I would not be surprised that they used different/cheaper materials wherever they could just to save a small amount of $...

    No its paint like what was done when the callipers were new. It looks similar to the green on the cv joints and suspension bushings so Ill assume Ferrari did it and not Ate. Your 82 Boxer has the same paint on its callipers as well from the factory.

    Yes- really gorgeous- I like the concept of using the yellow chromate screws to secure the heat shield instead of the rivets-I have been contemplating doing exactly that. Did you secure the side panels in the same way?

    I used the correct bolts to hold the rear and top shield in and rivets for the side panels as per original.

    They're new brembo's and I have them coated to prevent rust. Once I've gone for a road test it'll be bare where the pad contacts it.
