Gonna be a great finish in Winnipeg.
If you're Nashville, how do you recover and get ready from game 4 after blowing a 3-0 lead? If Nashville loses this series, this game obviously will be one major reason why
Ovenchkin's game winning goal over Boston was pretty sick. Off the post and then tapped into the net in mid air. But the goal tender gave up the tying goal that looks like he shouldn't have. Only 3 Boston shots on goal in the last period? Looks like Boston found a way to lose.
The Preds have their hands full. Other than Mr. Fleury, I do not see a game in and game out high level of goalkeeping in any series. A lot of people are down on Ovie and have been for years, I don't like him that much myself, but he is a force, a fierce competitor, and can (with Backstrom) carry a team.
You mean Pittsburgh, right? I didn't have a big problem with Wilson's hit on Doumolin, but last night's hit on Aston-Reese is another story. Resulted in a broken jaw and concussion. I hope the league punishes him accordingly. And yes, the Great Eight's goal was pretty good, but nothing compared to some of Crosby's recent goals.
I never understood the Ovie hate. If he disappeared in the playoffs, I could understand. But, he is averaging almost a point a game (if not more if you include his year).
Boston laid an egg tonight. Gave back home ice to Tampa. I feel for them, they are getting hosed by the referees, especially the breakaway by Marchand at the end of game two.
I do not. I don't think it should not have been a suspension at all. It was shoulder to shoulder on initial contact, and the follow through was the secondary contact.
ZZ top (who just signed a extended residency in LV) getting into the VGK spirit. I'm leaving on plane now. Can't watch the news or website until I get home and watch the recording. Go Knights! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I didn't see that one coming. I thought Vegas was going home up 3-1. Game wasn't even close. This one could go 7....
Couldn't agree more with both points. The Bruins were chasing Tampa around the ice all night. Just didn't have it last night. And although Marchand does bring a lot of the negative reactions on himself, he was justified last night complaining about the slashing call he got, when compared to the one that went uncalled against him in game 2. On the plus side, the Bruins have lost the two home playoff games I was not able to attend, but I will be there tomorrow night, so they should do just fine.
I think had the hit been by anyone else, the league would not have intervened. Wilson's right skate leaving the ice probably didn't help his case.
I don't understand how the official was not there to make the call in game 2 on a pivotal play (breakaway) yet there are two of them out there? Thats inexcusable, they get paid handsomely (over $150,000).
I don't think I want to know, I just go down and hang out there outside T Mobile and enjoy the fun. I will be there tomorrow night maybe Sunday night as well. I am sure somewhere along the way we can meet up this trip Keith.
