Called F151, the concept was immediately recognizable as a Ferrari thanks to styling cues like elongated headlights, sculpted flanks and round tail lamps.Giugiaro’s proposal was rejected and Ferrari instead launched the Pininfarina-designed FF in 2011.The mock-up is currently owned by an anonymous Ferrari collector in Italy. It has been stripped of all of its Ferrari emblems, the dark-tinted windows hint that it doesn’t have an interior and it goes without saying that it is not functional. Still, it serves as an interesting reminder of what could have been if Ferrari executives had set more ambitious sales targets. Will the F-151 serve of inspiration to Flavio Manzoni on the new FUV design ? Great find Mario! I'm glad they didn't build that one. It looks like Tesla ripped off the front end for their Model 3.
By 2020, almost 50% of all vehicles will be SUV or crossovers. There is an increasing demand globally for this type of vehicle, which is why Rolls, Lambo, Porsche, Bentley and yes Ferrari have and will provide SUVs or high-sided vehicles. The market demands it. I'm sure whatever Ferrari does it will be absolutely beautiful.
RR Cullinan will launch tomorrow. That will be a digital launch. The North American launch is Thursday, May 17th in Vancouver BC at the new RR dealerhsip (OpenRoad). So ready!!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just hope a future Ferrari's SUV sits in the antipodes of the Cullinan. Its bad enough that Ferrari is heading SUVs way, let alone the SUV "a la London cab" kind of way. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I read the Cullinan Diamond is the largest gem quality rough diamond ever found. To my eye this Rolls-Royce SUV is just a diamond at heart since it has borough nothing at all from the beauty of a finished diamond and everything from an uncut and rough Culling. The London cab definition suits this vehicle well.
Ricardo I hope you don't mind that I write again my reply because I just found out that a wrong word can completely change the meaning. It's sooo beautiful and practical, at least for our activities. Going long distances in varying road conditions? FF or Cullinan, depending on if you bring the dogs or not Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
