    Maloja: this is a great point, as it's something which I have noticed from time to time in looking at pictures of rubino micalizatto cars. They look unbelievable indoors or under diffuse light, but (and this is just my opinion) seem to lack the depth I would expect when exposed to direct sunlight.

    ....and then you land at Rosso Maranello, the color that fulfills all the wishes in different light conditions - no shortcomings imho except the pricing of it! :)

    Kind of proves my point that this colour is often misnamed but in the end it's always good old (Rosso) Rubino Micalizzato, also Rubino, Rosso Rubino or Rubino Mic. for short.

    I think so Olivier but if I can remember once Justin explained to me that the Grigio Ferro on my car is the old reference and the one on his car is the new one. Apparently there are subtle diferences between the two colors but my eye isn't good enough to tell the difference just by looking at the pictures.
