Your math is a hair off.....550/575=.9565.....therefore you should give it a 9.6/10 (with just a touch of positive rounding error). And it looks like it deserves at least a 9.6 anyway.
You forget that a manual trans = +1, actually making the car a 10.6... rounding, it’s basically an 11. Ruben
Not a classic v12, well you can kinda see my 575 in the first pic, but I’ve been bugging my dealer about finding me a red 812, I got the call a “red” was coming but it was a special order color and they weren’t sure what it was but car would be arriving shortly. I cleared my schedule and rushed over, car was incredibly late arriving, I spent 2+ hours and was ready to buy my 812 sticker was $428k and they wanted $495k. I looked at the spec sheet loved everything but then it arrived: the spec sheet didn’t mention the color but I wasn't a fan, the awful rims and the terrible yellow stitch interior. Needless to say 2 hours of my life I can’t get back. The search for a rossa corsa 812 continues..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure why, but the second picture looks remarkably Corvette-like. It could be a combination of low lighting and those black wheels (also not a fan of). The hunt goes on! Ruben
exhaust is killer on the 812, that spec was just so meh. The yellow stitching on the seats in a car of that color? Those seats, there's better ones, and that color with those rims. It just sucks bc my dealer called me and said I have a red one and it will be here in 30 minutes if you want I called you first, I said Rossa Corsa, and he said its red, a pretty shade, come see it LOL i got tricked
The sticker he texted me just says extracampiona 364000000. I dont know I wasn't really a fan, perhaps it was the rims, I like the other 812 rims better, the black ones are meh. I'll add the only pic I got of it in the light, mind you this is while I was inside the showroom far away and I saw it pulling up on the truck and the sticker pic the dealer texted me
Lovely! You may have seen where I am putting together a data base of 456s and 456Ms by VIN, color, assy #, engine #, and options. Would you mind providing information concerning your car? I do not identify owners except to note that car info is confirmed by the owner. No linkage of names, locations, etc. It would be much appreciated. Thanks, Eric.
Like that shade of red...the standard Rosso Corsa is too cliche. Can’t stand black wheels in general, not a fan of black interiors, and red stitching would look much better in this case. With a new Ferrari like this, to me, you gotta spec it exactly how you want, even if it means a several-year wait list. Patience pays.
do other tifosi adore their cars like we love our Maranellos. No, because no other Ferrari combines their breath-taking ageless flawless design with the ultimate sensual satisfaction of driving them.
Seth, I think you will find that they do. I know I love my Dino just as much as my Maranello - no more, no less - and I would say that the same goes for other Dino owners. Whenever anyone asks me which is my favourite of all my cars, the answer is easy: the last one I drove!
My blue 456M is, for me, at this time, this place, this point in life, the PERFECT car. So, yes, I do adore my car. Had the choice to buy a Maranello but the 456M suits me better. Tis all a matter of taste.
