    If you look at the Escursionisti Esteri (EE) plates, you can see the 2 stickers "04" (April) and "86" (1986).

    This means this car was completed and the plates were issued in April of 1985, the 1986 year sticker signifying the expiry date of the plates, the plates being valid for 1 year.

    With that in mind, you can narrow down this car to one of just a few of the first Downdrafts to be completed at Sant Agata by April 1985.

    Rear fog-lights were applied on the steering-wheel side of the car by the works, so the absence of the rear foglight does not help with establishing whether it was RHD or LHD.

    Unfortunately I cannot confirm whether this car was RHD or LHD and I do not have any more images besides the one that was afforded me

    Just got the Octane magazine at my local Barnes and Noble. Great article Countach versus GTO, great read and pictures, big thanks to Joe. Altough a jump from 185 to 195,with an added 15 hp is not something you expect to read in a magazine of this calibre. hey,minor details.

    April 1985, that makes sense.

    I was unaware this is FLA12827, so I can't verify LHD or RHD, nor its history since the image

    So I go out now and buy another 50 copies of Octaine with you and Sterling on the cover (the other 50 I already bought are now framed, and hanging everywhere in my humble house incl. front door. ;)).

    If this is the car i think it is,it was said at the time,it came with the hotter cams and factory performance uppgrade. Worth checking inn to, if buying.
